How does it work?



We like to collect all smaller, postable items, as once sold we need them at hand for swift packaging and dispatch. Larger items such as furniture, we'll photograph in situ and have the buyers collect directly from you.

We can however remove and store your larger pieces for you if need be, as sometimes it's not possible or suitable for collections to take place from our client's property. We do pass over basic removal and storage costs for that service, in addition to our regular fees. Please ask us for a quote - we'll always strive to keep these costs to a bare minimum to maximise your profits.

We'll appraise all items for you, suggesting start prices for the auctions, however as these are your items and your auctions, it's very much your decision on what prices to ultimately go with, however we'll always advise on what we think. The 'right' start price for an auction is a big part of achieving the best sales result possible!

Try and watch the last 5 minutes of your 7 day auctions if you can, and hopefully you'll witness a bidding frenzy, as buyers wait as long as possible before battling to win your goods!

We'll email you the results of your auctions once they’ve ended, along with a link to their final sale pages from eBay.

We'll have all postable items with us already, so the moment the buyers have paid us for the goods, we'll ship them out right away. Fear not, we do all the packing and posting so there's no brown tape or boxes anywhere apart from with us.

Regarding any larger goods still in your possession, we'll either have the buyers call you to arrange a suitable time for them to collect, or we'll have our drivers make contact to do the same - we offer nationwide delivery with all large items so quite often our drivers will be the ones collecting from you.

Once an item has sold, buyers will either pay us for the item via eBay's money transfer system, (Paypal) or via cash when they collect from you. Once dispatch or collection has taken place, we'll simply send you the money from the sale minus any fees. If the funds were received by our clients in the form of cash from collections, we'll issue an invoice for our fees after the sales have completed.

Once we have the photographs of the items to be sold, we'll typically have them online within 48 hours - If you're in a rush then the same day is often possible. Auctions run for 7 days and once sold, buyers of goods due for posting generally pay within 3-4 days. Those collecting larger pieces generally pick up within 7 days.

Have time issues? No problem, we're used to it! Let us know if you need things sold ASAP, or alternatively if you need us to delay the sale of goods for a specific date. Whatever time constraints you have, we can work with those.

Yes we can. Sometimes we are asked if we can simply purchase goods from our clients for their ease, and sell them ourselves afterwards. Yes we can offer that service, however are open in saying that it may not be the most economical method of disposal, as we do need to factor in our own removal/storage costs, and margins from reselling goods, however please do ask us for a price and we'll do our very best to offer you a healthy sum.

Very often clients aren't aware of the scope of what can actually be sold on eBay. The eBay marketplace is enormous and varied. It's not confined to who might be in a specific room on a specific day, as it has a truly global audience. It's not unusual for clients to have us sell previously unsold goods from their auction house antics, only for us to achieve prices far in excess of what the auction house was capable of. That applies to very specialist items too - the modern day collector will always search on eBay.
